As a junior foreman, you are the centre of gravity on the construction site where the reinforcement of concrete structures is central. You are primarily (95% of your time) cooperating foreman and also lead a small team of up to 5 colleagues. You ensure that the reinforcement is applied according to the technical drawings and specifications and monitor the quality of the work.
Proceedings
- Working foreman: You're actively involved in arming. This includes laying nets and prefab elements, tailoring and binding of concrete steel, and carrying out post-control on the work carried out.
- Preparing and distributing work: You read construction drawings, prepare the work, and distribute the tasks within your team.
- Coordinate and control: You monitor progress, agree with the supervisor or performer and order the necessary materials in time.
- Guide and instruct: You are the contact point for your team members, instruct them where necessary and guide them in their work.
- Simple administration: You keep a very simple record, such as the hours registration of yourself and your colleagues.

- You have a valid VCA VOL Certificate.
- You have minimum 5 years of experience as a concrete steel braider.
- You can reading architectural drawings and interpret.
- You have management capacities and can control a small team.

- License B.
- You're thinking problem solving and can anticipate unforeseen situations.
- You are communicative and can clearly consult with colleagues, managers and other parties on the construction site.
- You're capable of one very simple administration (such as hours registration)
